Uplink by Megus is a collection of ZX Spectrum music covers made with the Dirtywave M8 tracker.

This album is my way of paying tribute to the music that shaped my taste and got me into making music in the first place.

The sounds from games and demos stuck with me through my teenage years and gave me the inspiration. Now I'm covering the tracks that meant the most to me back then.

These songs have stood the test of time—some were composed as far back as 1990. You'll find some certified classics alongside tracks that might be less known but come from composers I truly respect. I actually know most of these artists personally, which makes this project even more special to me.

Each cover is me answering the question: "What would this music sound like if the author made it on something other than ZX Spectrum?" This isn't just an album—it's me saying thanks to the scene that gave me so much
